History of ingredients
Fish oil is obtained from wild anchovies caught in the Pacific Ocean. The fish is obtained with FOS (Friend Of The Sea) certified methods, ensuring safe fishing with environmental and sustainable ethics.
The anchovies used are wild caught, and the factory that processes them is close to the coast, which allows for quick processing and ensures a fresher final product.
All batches are tested according to IFOS (International Parameters for Fish Oil) for possible environmental contaminants, including heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins, furans and dioxin-like PCBs. These accumulate in the fat and oil derived from fish and therefore may contain these contaminants that can have negative health effects. IFOS also measures oxidation and freshness to ensure that fish oil is stable and good to consume.
